Your case is unique. In Family law, every case is analyzed to determine the potential obstacles involved. With that said, a divorce retainer which is uncontested may start at $1,500.00, yet a contested divorce with children and/or property issues may start at $2,500.00 or more, depending on the issues at hand. Let's just take for example, Brittney Spears custody and her prior visitation case several years ago. She has no doubt spent millions in her court battle. Of course, most of us are not looking at this type of situation, but it clearly represents that each case is unique. Attorney Richard K.Isles will determine the necessary retainer to begin your case at your initial appointment.
Family law cases are individually assessed in terms of the initial retainer amount. Issues considered are trial costs, out of court settlements, negotiations, location of your court matter. Uncontested vs. contested dissolutions, and the type of family law matter at hand.
